What's new in Division II?

A few things of note: First of all, Washburn played at Purdue, and despite lacking the injured Senior Carl Jenkins, held tight, losing 81-72. This is the same Purdue that returns three starters from a team that beat a very good Duke team last year. Perhaps this Washburn game will be more of a challenge than some suspected.

Also, Emporia state lost at Wichita State last night 68-61 after leading 61-60 with about two minutes to go. Turgeon's Shockers are projected by most to end up in the NCAA tournament this year, so our absolute slobberknocking of ESU looks more impressive.

I should add a correction. Last week, I said that Gonzaga beat ESU 114-68. I took that from ESU's website, which has also now been corrected.
