KU's lean, mean, freshman shooting machine, who's been sidelined for the last three weeks ago nursing a groin injury, is now practicing with the team.
He said he did light workouts during the last three weeks and worked with the trainers to get him in condition to practice. He said he did a lot of stretching and received daily treatment on the groin.
No wonder he was out so long... Galindo's lack of practice made his less than stellar debut pretty understandable. He was just not quite as with it and he appeared to force his shots. From what I hear of his practices and players' perceptions, I think he'll be challenging Mike Lee and J.R. Giddens for minutes by mid-season.
