Mizzou's Simpson suspended for drug possession

Another notch on the proverbial bedpost of squalor for our Tiger friends to the East. Jason Simpson, Mizzou's 2nd leading tackler, will be ineligible for their Independence Bowl matchup against USC (the other USC).

Missouri has suspended Jason Simpson, a team captain and a senior defensive safety who was the team's second-leading tackler during the regular season, after Simpson's arrest on possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
