According to the Kansas City Star, KU's Charles Gordon may enter the NFL draft. What are the signs?
1. Gordon's stepfather, Stanley Wilson, has hinted that the Fort Worth Bowl was Gordon's last in a KU uniform. 2. Gordon is ranked as the 7th best cornerback (his preferred position) and 77th best player overall available for the draft. Gordon doesn't project as a receiver at the next level. 3. At KU, Gordon would likely be cast more as a receiver, and he would almost certainly be called upon to play both ways. That takes a tole on the body. Talib will certainly hold one corner spot, and two JC transfers will fight for the other spot, according to The Star. KU's thin at receiver, especially with Simmons' graduation. 4. Gordon will earn his degree in May. He would have to enroll in graduate school if he returns next year.
I'd sure love to watch you play one more year, Charles, but make the decision that is best for you. KU fans will stand behind you. That's what we do!!!
