From the Minneapolis Star Tribune - posted on 2/10/06 Cole Aldrich, the 6-11 junior center from Bloomington Jefferson who has made a verbal commitment to Kansas, could miss the rest of the regular season because of a stress fracture in his lower left leg.
Aldrich said Thursday that he has been playing in pain for the past 2 ½ weeks and X-rays revealed the injury to his fibula this week. Aldrich is averaging 17.4 points and 12.8 rebounds for the Jaguars (14-3), who are No. 8 in the Star Tribune metro rankings as well as Minnesota Basketball News' statewide Class 4A poll.
Good news, though. I checked their game log and he missed a little over 2 weeks, but has played the last 2 games.
