Injuries and Maladies at Pitt

Hard to read too much into this, but if Pitt's much vaunted front line is ailing, it could give them trouble, should they face KU or Bradley.

Pitt returned to practice yesterday after a day off to prepare for NCAA first-round opponent Kent State. Center Aaron Gray did not practice and, by the end of the short workout, his backup, Tyrell Biggs, was out, too.

Gray came down with the flu Monday and was held out of the workout yesterday as a precaution. Biggs injured a calf muscle and was on crutches after practice. The severity of the injury will not be known until it is evaluated further today.
